The Azienda Agricola Pescicoltura Burrini’s trout has to observe some defined parameters to obtain a final product following the qualitative market standard:
FISH FEED: there is a specific protocol for the use of an alimentation plan based on fish feed with a low quantity of fat, controlled first materials and OGM FREE.
VIRAL DISEASES: the absence of viral and bacterial diseases is the first element to have an healthy trout growth, guaranteeing to the customer a sure success after the purchase.
WATER: it is a vital element for an healthy trout growth. Our water comes directly from Dolomiti–Brenta ice in Trentino and the temperature doesn’t damage the production.
These points represent the main base to obtain excellent quality trout, soft and tasty meat and especially an almost natural and hygienic environment.
In Vigo Rendena the trout takes 18/24 months to reach the ideal size. In Treviso, instead, the trout takes 12/15 months, because am plain the water temperature is constant during the year. The trout meat, easily digestible, is resistant, thinner, richer in proteins, mineral salts and omega 3.

Trout’s type:

RAINBOW TROUT: it comes from North-America and it’s destined quite totally for the human consumption and sowing in sport fishing lakes. It is produced in all different sizes. A particulat type of rainbow trout is the rainbow salmon trout which has got a special natural pigmentation. It is destined only to transformation and consume and it’s always produced in size bigger than 500 gr.

BROWN TROUT: this trout, coming from Europe, has got a production cycle longer than rainbow trout one. The brown trout is destined only to the repopulation of public water.


BROOK TROUT: (Salvelinus fontinalis): thanks to his high digestibility, it’s considered the best type of fish. A game fish much sought after by sport anglers because of fighting abilities and taste..

SPARCTIC BROOK TROUT: a cross between Lake Arctic Charr (Salvelinus alpinus) and brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis). A strong trout – is not so sensitive to the normal VHS-virus disease – have good growth rate, normal feed uptake and digestibility.

GOLDEN TROUT: particular type of rainbow trout (Oncorhyncus mykiss) with a yellow livery. Ideal for game fishing.

Trade markets:


The Azienda Agricola Pescicoltura Burrini’s trout are delivered only with private means of transport.
In Italy and also abroad (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Czech Republic) the main customers are slaughtering.
The fingerlings (from eggs to 5 gr.) and the trout (5-100 gr.) production is aimed, instead,  to the repopulation of other plants which are not able to start the cycle of breeding with the introduction of eyed trout eggs.
