The Azienda Agricola Pescicoltura Burrini plants can be considered complementary because they manage to carry out all the possible operations for the trout breeding. This represents a strategic point for the firm because it doesn’t need of other external plants to have eggs, fingerlings and trout for its own production.
Vigo Rendena
The fishing plant in Vigo Rendena is considered the first of the firm. The plant is aimed to eggs, fingerling (from eggs to 5 gr.), trout (5-100 gr.) and commercial size trout production.
It is fed by the Sarca river water which comes from a distance of 20 Km from the rising. The water temperature varies from 2 °C in winter to 15-16 °C in summer.
Fontanelle 1
This plant is aimed to the eggs, fingerling (from eggs to 5 gr.) and trout (5-100 gr.) production. It is fed by water coming from some groundwater and this let to have a constant temperature during all the year. The water temperature varies from 12°C in winter to 14°C in summer and in this way there is an exact production planning. In the plant there are not viral diseases.
Fontanelle 2
This is the second plant in the Treviso area. Here commercial size trout until 6-7 Kg are produced. The superficial water temperature varies from 7-8°C in winter to 17°C in summer and it comes from a distance of 10 Km from the rising. A part of the plant uses well water with a constant temperature during all the year.
