The eggs produced by Pescicoltura Burrini are available during all the year. The production follows some well defined rules, acquired through a fifties years’ experience: the squeezing , the fertilization, the hatching and the packing. The eggs are aimed to the repopulation of big plants in Italy, Austria, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Lebanon, Israel, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Afghanistan, Bolivia, Colombia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia, ecc… .

RAINBOW TROUT EGGS: more commonly known as breeding trout, the rainbow trout has a very special silver livery with black speckles on the back and a clear pink strip which runs along the sides and gives a final touch very nice at view. Available all year long: all females, mixed sex, triploid.
RAINBOW TROUT EYED EGGS VRVD: it’s a particular rainbow trout cross very resistant at viral diseases such as IHN and VHS. Available from September until April.
BROWN TROUT EGGS: this type of trout has got a beautiful shape and nice clear red sposts. It’s used for sport angling and “Put and Take” fisheries. Available from December until March.
BROOK TROUT EGGS: thanks to his high digestibility, it’s considered the best type of fish. A game fish much sought after by sport anglers because of fighting abilities and taste. Available from November until February.
SPARCTIC TROUT EGGS: cross between Lake Arctic Charr (Salvelinus alpinus) and brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis). A strong trout – is not so sensitive to the normal VHS-virus disease – have good growth rate, normal feed uptake and digestibility. A popular game fish in Put and Take Fisheries, a good and strong fighter and well known for a nice and tasty flesh quality. Available from November until February.
GOLDEN TROUT EGGS: particular type of rainbow trout (Oncorhyncus mykiss) with a yellow livery. Ideal for game fishing. Available from January until March.

The Azienda Agricola Pescicoltura Burrini exports trout eggs all over the world. In case of abroad shipments, the eggs are delivered by airplane, otherwise delivered by private means of transport to guarantee the perfect goods maintenance.
Female rainbow trout spawning phase
Fertilization phase with the use of syringe. In the syringe there is the male seed which is prepared and observed through the use of the microscope before squeezing
Post-squeezing phase. In this phase the eggs, just fertilized, have to remain for a period which depends from the water temperature until they will become eyed eggs
In the selection phase a machine shares the good eggs from the refuse ones through the use of a photo-electric cell. This is able to see the colors
The eyed eggs are counted and collected in some polystyrene boxes. Afterwards these boxes are put in other bigger polystyrene boxes and covered by ice to maintain the eggs until the destination
Arrived to destination the eggs are collected in some little ponds, called “California” and in few days they will be born
